Amanda & Carson's Engagement Session!

We've known Amanda and Carson for awhile now. We met them in 2005 when we did one of their friend's Wedding. And, have seen them at quite a few more since then! So, we were so excited when they told us that they were getting married in December of this year! We can't wait until their Wedding...it's going to be a blast! Here are a few photos of Sunday's Engagement Session. We walked around Mass Ave. and then headed over to the Canal. It was a little windy at times, but we got some great shots!
This is one of Kevin's favorite shots...

And, this is one of my favorite shots...

Melissa and Ryan's Engagement Session!

We had Melissa and Ryan's Engagement Session at the beginning of the week at the very cool Arts Park in Broadripple. It felt so nice outside and they are such a great couple. Ryan's was a little on the quite side, but I loved the way he looked at Melissa. They are getting married on September 15th of this year here in Indy! Here are a few photos...

We had such a great time with Karen and Jim last Tuesday during their Engagement Session. We went to Coxhill Gardens in Carmel, and we had such a nice day. It was a little windy at times, but the weather was great for March! They are getting married on May 12th of this year in Indy. Here are a few pictures from our day!

Great Idea!

Here is a great idea that one of our couples did! They have their own wedding website. You can add pictures and tell stories of how you met. This is a perfect idea if you have a lot of family and friends that are coming from farther away! You can put directions to your Ceremony and Reception sites and local hotel information. They can even RSVP on-line! Anyways, check it out... http://www.ewedding.com.

We LOVE what we do!

I just got this really great e-mail from a girl named Summer. We love what we do! And, we love that others love what we do! This letter totally made our day! Thanks Summer for the uplifting things your wrote.

Here's what she wrote:

Hello!

I've been going over and over in my head a good way to word this email, but
I'm afraid any way I put it, I'm still going to come across a little goofy
but oh well! Here I go! I emailed you awhile back because I wasn't able to
view your website but with your help I got it going... and I'm SO GLAD I
did. I think I told you briefly how great I thought you guys were but I
wanted to tell you again. Let me explain... I LOVE photography...
especially of weddings. The work you guys do is so amazing... and I have
seen a lot of photographers work. My boyfriend and I can't wait to get
married sometime within the next few years, and I've already decided I want
you as our photographer... So I REALLY hope we can book you guys in time!
We're hoping October... maybe of next year! I can't wait to marry him, and
every time I look at your site (which is very often because I love to look
if anything new has happened!) it makes me even more excited because I know
how well you guys will capture our special day. I LOVE the albums you put
together. Do you design these? I love how there are so many pictures and
so well placed. I'm assuming you guys are married and are the two
photographers and I think that is awesome as well! I'm going to wrap this
up though because I just realized it's getting lengthy and you're probably
beginning to think I'm crazy! But I really do love your work and I just
wanted you to know that. I hope you guys have a wonderful day! God Bless!

Some Crazy Days in Iraq

As many of you know, my sister, Jeannie is serving our country in Iraq. She's been there since October and hopefully will be home this May! Here are a few pictures she's sent us.
Here is everyone during the Commander's Call.

This is Jeannie will all of her gear on.

This is the group she trained with in Wisconsin before she left.

A sandstorm...

And, a beautiful sunset...

Here's the soccer field where Suddam Hussein murdered his whole Soccer Team for loosing...

Jeannie "won" a trip in a Black Hawk helicopter! I would be a little scared, but she was so excited!

Here she is with some of her new friends...

Feel free to leave Jeannie a message in the comments. She has access to this blog. Everyone over there needs our thoughts and prayers.
